Ford transits made from 2000 till now.
The all new transit
The all new ford transit van that drives like a car, and has the security of a bank that was the message Ford put across when this van hit the streets in 2000, and they were right within a few weeks the vans were every where and selling the opposition 4to1 an amazing campaign was put into place to sell and promote this great transit van.
I was very lucky that in the year 2000 Ford came to me again to help with the history part of the launch of the new Transit van in Seville, Spain. For years I have collected transit vans including artwork, models and so and it was great to be part of the team helping to promote what has become my passion. It was nice to see the way Ford works in the world today and how it had changed in the 30 years since I was with them. In 1970 I drove from England to southern Spain in my MK 1 and here I was 30 years later driving my Hallmark with all the memorabilia in the back promoting the Transit again. The icing on the cake for me was driving part of my collection to Seville and on the way there finding lots of items to increase my collection including an Efsi MK2 kit I had been looking for since 1983 it just does not get any better.
