The all new Ford Transit
Another new Ford Transit hit the streets on Jan 9th 1986 with a new shape. A great looking van.
It had a new body and loads of new extras built in. It made you wonder how good this product could get and how many more idea's Ford could come up with time after time. Within a few months the new van was in every high street and was owned by major companies who were ordering big fleets of this new Transit. It did get a big revamp in 1991 yet again Ford needed to update the van for the buyers and the line at Southampton was updated to turn pout the new panels and grill.
